Where did the name “Mr. Maria” come from?

We’ll start with an easy question; Mister is what we call my dad in my Family—instead of Dad—and Maria is my Mom. Hence Mr. Maria pays homage to them and all they have done to support me and this start up idea.

What is a custom-made item?

We purchase and source vintage and recycled textiles, in particular our mid century fabrics. They are of course in limited supply, so only a handful of items can be made with those textiles. The custom items you choose the exterior , interior, lining, buckles, closures, straps, etc; making each bag truly unique.

What’s the difference between a custom-made and a handmade item?

In short, nothing. We hand make your customized bags and gifts.

What if I need several of the same item in vintage fabrics?

Send US an email. We’ll work with you and our inventory to get you what you need.

What if Im not happy with my purchase?

Send it back within 30 calendar days of delivery and with the original packaging. We’ll refund your order, except for the shipping, no questions asked.

What if its been more than 30 days?

Send us an email and we’ll do our best to make it right.

What is a production partner?

As a small start up, we don’t always have all the means and machinery needed to create our products in-house. We out source products that can be made on demand and shipped to you directly through production partners.
